Requiem for the Lost
Rich Shemaria

My latest work, Requiem for the Lost, responds to growing interest in genetic resurrection—such as efforts to revive the extinct dire wolf. The piece reflects concerns about the manipulation of nature. I see the creativity in science as a double-edged sword, while the advancements can lead to remarkable discoveries, we must tread carefully.

Join me in reflecting on our impact through music.

PAPERBOY 2

In the late 80’s armed with my trusty Yamaha DX-7 and my Roland-505 drum machine, I wrote the music for “Paperboy 2”. It was a nice gig at the time and the game seemed to be fairly popular. Over the years, a small following grew and I started to get messages from people who had played it as a kids, saying things like “the soundtrack of my youth”. Ones music career, no matter how you my plan it, will take you places you never intended to go.
